AIHRE's success at the II National Green Hydrogen Congress!

The AIHRE project has played a leading role in the II National Green Hydrogen Congress, held in Huelva from 4 to 6 February. This event, considered one of the most relevant in the renewable energy sector, has allowed AIHRE to reinforce its presence and leadership in the research and development of green hydrogen.

AIHRE's participation in the congress has been organised by partner Technology Corporation of Andalusia, and has also involved other partners such as CIDAUT and the National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA). In addition to having their own stand, AIHRE's partners made known the project and the possibilities of collaborating with it in other official activities of the programme. Thus, different B2B meetings were held, organised by Andalucía TRADE, wich has facilitated the connection with companies and institutions in the sector. In addition, in the Parallel Hall of the congress, the partners held two conferences where they presented the project:

  • On 4 February, Eduardo López González, R&D Project Manager at INTA, gave a lecture on ‘Operating strategies for electrolysers coupled to renewable sources', in which he cited AIHRE's progress.
  • On 5 February, José Ignacio Domínguez Carrero, coordinator of the project at CIDAUT, presented the lecture ‘AIHRE project: first research results and their impact‘.

One of the most important achievements of the participation in the congress was the increase in the number of entities registered in the AIHRE Ecosystem, which now totals more than 60 members, mainly from Spain and Portugal.

The second edition of the National Green Hydrogen Congress brought together more than 1,400 professionals and representatives of more than 450 companies, consolidating its position as a key event in the sector. Furthermore, the organisation of the congress, by the Federación Onubense de Empresarios, has announced the celebration of its third edition in 2026, reaffirming its importance in the panorama of renewable energies in Andalusia.
