More than 50 entities join the AIHRE Ecosystem

The AIHRE project has exceeded more than 50 memberships to its AIHRE Ecosystem. The AIHRE Ecosystem is a community of public and private entities interested in promoting renewable hydrogen at industrial level, thus supporting the main objective of the project.

The latest update of this community, carried out in August 2024, gives the figure of 58 registered entities. Almost all of its members come from Spain and Portugal, the cooperation area of this project financed by the Interreg POCTEP programme 2021-2027, although one of them is located in Brazil.

In an analysis by sector of activity, the majority of the entities attached to the AIHRE Ecosystem is dedicated to R&D (34%). This is followed by technology suppliers (14%) and the industry and trade associations (10%). On the other hand, the data highlight the need to include other types of actors in this community, such as environmental protection agencies, logistics and transport companies and non-governmental organisations, as these sectors are only 1% represented in the ecosystem.

How to join the AIHRE Ecosystem

Membership of the AIHRE Ecosystem is voluntary and free of charge. To become a member, the interested entity has to fill in a form enabled on the project website. This form asks for basic information about the entity, which will be displayed in the virtual map of the web section.

From that moment on, members of the AIHRE Ecosystem will receive regular information on the events organised by the project, as well as other news related to the renewable hydrogen that may be of interest to them.
