On 15 November, the AIHRE project held its first online matchmaking event to foster collaboration on renewable hydrogen between Spain and Portugal. Organised by the partner INEGI, the meeting was attended by around 40 participants and 11 entities took part in a pitch session.
The entities, which included companies and research centres from both countries, publicly presented their strengths, capacities and demands for the implementation of renewable hydrogen. The entities participating in the pitch session were H2m, Hidrógeno Manufacturado, S.L., Tresca Ingeniería S.A., Vanguardland Innova, S.L., Envirohemp SL, Taiichio and Wolf Projects, Centro Ibérico en Investigación de Almacenamiento de Energía (CIIAE), Hellonext, CETIL DISPENSING TECHNOLOGY, STV Lda, Induzir and Trinity Energy Storage.
In addition, during the meeting INEGI presented the results of activity 1 of the AIHRE project, corresponding to the analysis of the hydrogen value chain and the technologies available and to be developed.
Next matchmaking in February 2025
After the success of this first matchmaking event, AIHRE members are already working on its second edition, which on this occasion will be held at the II National Green Hydrogen Congress in Huelva, from 4 to 6 February 2025. AIHRE will have its own stand at this event, the C-6, from where different days of promotion of this initiative will be held.
