Just a few weeks before its final event, the AIHRE project continues to step up its efforts to disseminate the results achieved throughout its implementation. In this context, project partners CIDAUT and INTA took part in the international Hyceltec 2026 conference, held in Alicante from 8 to 11 June, with the aim of bringing the initiative’s advances closer to the scientific, technological and industrial communities specialising in hydrogen technologies.
Organised by the University of Alicante, Hyceltec has established itself as a leading interdisciplinary forum for researchers and professionals interested in hydrogen, fuel cells, advanced batteries, supercapacitors and other energy storage systems. The event brought together representatives from academia, technology centres, research organisations and industry, fostering knowledge exchange and the development of new opportunities for collaboration.
During the conference, AIHRE representatives had the opportunity to present the main results achieved by the European consortium, as well as the experiences and lessons learned throughout the project's development.
After several years of collaborative work, the initiative is entering its final phase, leaving behind significant advances in the field of renewable hydrogen and strengthening cooperation between organisations in Spain and Portugal to drive a more sustainable, innovative and decarbonised economy.
